About FastWater
A small workshop with a careful approach.
FastWater is a furniture and cabinetry studio in Southgate Township, Ontario, focused on useful, beautiful and long-lasting work.
The Maker
Built from experience, curiosity and respect for the material.
FastWater is owned and operated by Anthony Rabideau, a furniture maker and cabinetmaker with more than a decade of professional experience in fine woodworking, custom cabinetry, finishing and installation.
His experience includes high-end custom shops in Ontario and British Columbia, close collaboration with designers and builders, a Studio Woodworking diploma from Okanagan College, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University.
What guides the work.
Purpose Before Excess
Every detail should support how the piece looks, feels or functions.
Honest Materials
Wood is selected and finished to preserve its warmth, grain and natural character.
Lasting Relationships
Clear communication and collaboration matter as much as the finished object.
Inside the workshop.
Crafted with intention.
The aim is not mass production. It is careful design, sound construction and pieces made with attention to the details that matter.
